I will like to ket the District Manager from the New Britan store what a terrific job his new store manager is doing.I had started going out of town to shop because from tbe managers and key holders wete very rude and disrecptive.I have live in New Britain fot 24 years and have done retail for 20 i have run fuju camera shop,Asst Manager at kmart Store manager at K bay toy store and lastly i have run a residental home with people with mental illness but when i went to the store she was doing her fall planagram but said hello ask me if tbere was something that i was looking for i truly had to gradulate her onn all her hard. work these are the people you need. I am in my mid forty and adk one of the young ladies for a print out and she just keep working I told the young lady I only need a pary time Friday Saturday and sunday and per diem if they need me or cover someones vacation I think that with this New Store Manager and a Strong key holder theft will decrease and your stire will make a profit you do not need your storemanager doing freight and3 cashier up front now i can tell family and friends what a nice store it has become sincerly Wilda Figueroa (860)356_****

Rainbow customer service suck!!!

I've been to rainbow like a bunch of times in Square One Mall with a smile on my face when I left. I've never had a problem with the any associates before,but today everything changed. I don't know why they would hire these freakin losers to be associates. They are cheaters, mean,and dishonest. They are trying to get more money from customers. What the heck!!! I was about to buy this dress for $5 and they charged me double of that. Plus when they scanned it, it said $5 exactly. I really don't think that any customers would ever want to go to the rainbow at Square One Mall because this could happen to you when you're not realizing. rainbow will never see me there again or my friends.

I brought a Two piece set the skirt rang up for 9.99 and it was the same exact skirt as all the other skirts that were for 7.99 the manager told me i could not get my skirt for 7.99 because it rangs up 9.99 in there system..and 10 of thr same exact skirts had different ticket numbers and all were 7.99 her attitude was very nonchalant and brush off....

Hi,I'm usually not the type of person who complains or anything of the sort, but I'm just disgusted with everything that I saw and heard. I am an all-time fan when it comes to shopping at rainbows it is probably one of my favorite stores because very few stores have my sizes but yesterday I decided to go to rainbows in Homestead Florida which is on 831 N. Homestead Blvd. homestead FL 33030 and it was a mess there was clothes thrown around all over the place. one of the girls who work there were talking on Her cellphones while the store had customers and then the other lady she had her family at the store and they were being loud and annoying saying bad words in Spanish and I clearly understood what they were speaking because I speak Spanish as well. I needed help reaching a shirt that was too high and the lady told me to give her a second because she was talking mind you it was to a family member not even to a customer then when I asked the other girl to help me she completely ignored me because she was talking on the phone. I am really upset and I don't plan to come back to this rainbow store ever again but I would like to inform you guys the type of people that you have working for your company.

Hi i went into a rainbow store on yesterday 10-03-15 around 7:30pm my daughter and I shopped for about an hour getting her about $200 worth of clothes and myself about $150 worth of items. As I wanted to pick up a dew more items like accessories, scarfs, earrings I suddenly had to use the restroom I then asked the young lady if I could ans she informed me there was no public restroom.

Well excuse me but I am not the public but I am a paying customer she then tell me oh you can ask the nail shop to ise it but they want you to get your nails did other than that your out of luck. Wow, rainbow I was floored that your employees are willing to send your money out of the door easily because if you think for once I would spend my money in a place who thinks my money is ok but I am not worthy enough to relieve my self you have to be crazy. I am asking for someone from corporate to contact me be back this is obsurd behavior and policy. I will never go back to a rainbow in my entire life if this what your policy calls for.

This rainbow was located at 71st between clyde and Jeffrey, Jeffrey plaza. In Chicago, Il.

I went into the rainbow store in balch springs Texas on lake June and was not greeted or spoken to the whole time I was in the store. Even when leaving out. No one even said anything when my daughter left oy. That was Tuesday this wee. There wasbteo girls working. I went back Saturday and the same thing happenend and a man was working that day. Other stores around there greet you. I am very disappointed and will never gobbavk there.

today at 2:10pm I WEBT TO rainbow WITH MY DAUGHTER! Well, as of today May 30, 2015 in the city of Charlotte, NC I went to RAINBOWS ON WESTERLY HILLS PLAZA, 3416 WILKINSON BLVD to purchase a few items. I was with my parents, my mom couldn't come inside the store due to injury of her knee. So, she gave me her card so that I could pay for my clothes. As I approach the register, the rainbow employee greeted me, rung up my items, then asked if I wanted debit or credit? I informed her that it was credit, so she tells me that she needed to see my moms ID. She didn't say that my mom needed to come in the store or anything. So I went to go retrieve my moms ID FROM THE CAR. I come back into the store with my moms ID IN HAND. People jumped ahead of me while I was outside the store getting my mom's ID. As I approach the register , she tells me that she can't ring up my items with just me having my moms ID in my hand. So, while I'm standing there she talks smack under her breath about me bringing just my mom's ID AND NOT BOTH MY MOM AND HER ID?! I explain that my mom has knee trouble and that she couldn't get out the car and that is why she is not with me to make the purchase . So, she tells me rudely that she will walk out of the store with me to verify her ID. Judging me as if I'm a person who regularly commits fraud or steals on a regular basis. As we get outside the store.. I show her my ride and she yells across the paved road telling my mom she is verifying her ID. HOW DUMB CAN THIS AUTHORIZATION GET?? As we proceed to re-enter the store, I ask her " is this a new store policy? Because I have been in the place where I've had to use my mother's credit card before and wasn't prompt to verify her ID THEN." She doesn't look at me or anything and rudely mumbles an answer under her breath. So, as I'm asking questions she finally acknowledges that I am walking beside her, however in a mean way by telling me that she will not service me and that someone else will be ringing up my items because I keep getting smart with her. I promptly inform her firmly and loudly that " No. I'm not getting smart, but I can!" Then she continues to reject service to me, I tell her " if u want to be childish then you go ahead and you do just that!" She approaches the register and She signs off the receipt of my items and tells her co-worker that she will not ring me up and sarcasticly tells me to have a nice day, I bluntly tell her the same. By this time I have calmed down, she still insist to provoke a situation by talking smack. I firmly tell her in customer service frankly the customer is always right, she talks about me to her co-worker, telling her that I was getting smart with her. I tell her that Im being quiet and that she is still provoking a situation. To RAINBOWS CORPORATE OFFICE, I have been coming to your establishment for a while and I have NEVER been treated like a second class citizen to this very day! YOU have a very upset customer and I want my voice to be heard. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL SOMETHING IS DONE about this employee who decided to cause an unnecessary scene with me! There are a lot of people who want to work in the customer service business and who also knows how to treat people with respect. RAINBOWS, keep hiring people who treat others the way this woman treated me today and your stores will raft a steady decline in future sales!

Manager customer service at Rainbow is absolutely disgusting. Last Saturday I went to return 1 item where the only cashier was the manager. There were 2 other employees who were very willing to help me, only to be shut down by the Manager who claimed to be the only person in the store who can do EVERYTHING. I asked the Manager, why is she the only cashier when it is mid-day, the first of the month (August), a Saturday, and a day people will start their back-to-school shopping. She didn't answer me, but it was apparent, she was a control freak with a bad attitude, Today, I went to Rainbow - different location and asked for a fitting room. Here comes another RUDE Manager: "You're going to have to wait." Why did I have to wait? I didn't ask her, but I could see the fitting rooms were empty, and there was 2 other employees on the floor. Of course she took her time at the cash register, talking about nothing to the customer, like I wasn't standing there. After literally almost 10 minutes of waiting, I asked her is she the only person who can open a fitting room. She said YES, because she has to be the cashier and count the clothes that go in the fitting room - because she's the MANAGER. WHAT???? When she felt like she wanted to open the fitting room for me, I told her the store needs to do better because she should not be the only cashier and hold up customers from using the fitting room. Low and behold, when I get done, there's two freaking cashiers working - when she could have called that employee to open a fitting room. Rainbow just lost another customer! They can take their bad attitudes and deal with it themselves - see how much they enjoy themselves.

She went to the dressing room and tried on clothes i had to wait to get back into a dressing room!!! horrible service! How can i report them??

My visit in Bear, Delaware

On Friday June 12, 2015 a little bit after 3pm I visited the Rainbow store located at the Governor Square shopping Center. When I entered in the store there was a very nice young lady by the name of Chovana.

She is very professional, a people person, a hard worker. She helped find was I was looking for since she was on the floor fixing the racks. even when I was leaving she thanked me for coming to Rainbow store. when I went to try on the item, there were three ladies at the register having a conversation.

They saw me by the fitting trying to get their attention, they were all busy talking. Then when I approached them, they kept the conversation and ignored me. Finally one of them (not operator 5805ZM) took the key and opened the fitting room without greeting me or even asking because they knew I was waiting for them to open the room. She is an African American in her late 40's.

As I was walking to the fitting, she was in front of me with the key in her hand. I tried to hold a conversation with her so her mind can be off the subject that she was talking about with peers, she completely ignored me. I said to her " I hope this fits me", she completely ignored me. When I came out to pay, they were still in their conversation.

I was the only one there as customer as all three of them were having a conversation. In the mean time, the young lady who greeted me at the entrance as she was fixing the racks was still there continuing to fix the racks. The three ladies at the register ignored me then operator 5805ZM (dark skin, a little thin) took the item from me by saying "Hi" with no eye contact, then quickly went right back to the conversation with peers by turning her head towards the other staff. A minute or two later after holding my item in her hand while talking with peers, that operator 5805ZM finally rang up my order.

When I went back to the store at around 3:20pm, I was served by another staff by this number: operator 4170KW who didn't seem like she wanted to be there. She wasn't professional at all. She probably needs to be in the back unloading, unpacking instead of dealing with customers because she doesn't seem to be a people person. She is a little heavy set, brown skin but younger than the staff that opened the fitting room.

It seemed like she was getting upset as she was serving me and the other customers that were in front of me. I was very patient and understanding and acted as if it was someone that was having a bad day. Even with the customers in front of me, she was not polite at all. In the mean time, Chovana was at the other register with a pleasant smile in her face ringing up customers orders.

I was in line for at least fifteen minutes. On my way out, the lady that opened the fitting room was at the door fixing up racks shouted in a good way as I was on my way out "Thank you for coming".

I was happy that she was able to say that to me or any other customer because what she did on my first visit was not professional at all. I like Rainbow store and I will continue going there but I would like to see better customer service at all times.

In all my 25 years of living I've never made or filed a complaint, however, today after visiting one of your stores in New York (Jamaica Avenue) I just have to. The cashier who I'm assuming had some sort of authority ( all the workers came to his barking call) was extremely rude to the customers! I've never witnessed this form of unprofessionalism ever. He barked at customers and almost got into a fight with another in which he left from around his counter and ordered her to "smack him" in the face if she dared, he then ordered the guy working at the door to close it. Mind you he was attending to customers at the time. I believe this was very poor customer service and I can speak for myself , a tourist who frequents New York and jamaica avenue and also your store I can say I will not be shopping there ever again. The guy im speaking of was tall, medium build and bald headed with some sort of accent.

The company needs to really work on employee introduction.

first time meeting my coworkers, they were rude, only two out of 5 were nice. It's unacceptable in a professional environment to be rude like that.

Dirty registers, messy looking floors. Get paid a *** an hour doing 3 people's job (stock, cashier and sales....you read that right) An employee's armpit STANK, the company needs to have a sit down and really fix things around. No wonder when I shopped there, everyone looked pissed.

Upon meeting a manager on the first day, she kept repeating to another employee "I'm the boss here, anyone that comes here will get straightened out" what a gross attitude.

It was a complete turn off. Wouldn't want to work for a company like that.

This company needs to fix there cameras and watch out for people who take pictures with the money... Also why would some rainbow employees be taking pictures of themselves with rainbow money at the bank are they *** enough... The district manager for the stores in Tampa she needs to realize who are the thieves and who are not. And for anyone that works for this company and works for her be careful she might even set you up for stealing!

I placed an order online at Rainbow Shops on July 5th, 2015. On July 7th I received an email notification that my order has been shipped. GREAT! Just to scroll down to see that they had a totally wrong name on my package invoice. I sent them an email immediately advising of their error and also called and up to this day I have not received my clothing items as a result of their error so I spent $115.51 if my hard earned money for nothing. No response, no follow up. I am beyond pissed at this time. I just sent another email to their customer service department today and if I do not get a reply to resolve this matter in 24 hours I will be handling this differently. It is very unfair to me the customer, the lack of care and concern that Rainbow has as it relates to customer satisfaction. This was my first order with Rainbow and I will not be ordering anything from them AGAIN!!!!
