Rude Salesperson
Good Day:
On Jan 14, around 3:30 pm, I went into Rainbow Shops in Mt. Pocono, PA to return a pair of jeans.
I brought the jeans Sunday 6/12. The woman who was giving the refund for me was very rude. She asked for the last four numbers of card used, then I had to swipe my card (twice) (first time did not go through, which she did not explain, just said swipe card for a second time). Then she gave me a slip to fill out (filling out slips for returns is so outdated now, but anyway).
I filled it out, she gave it back and told me to sign there and there. I signed, then she said I had to sign at the bottom (Apparently I signed the second signature in the wrong place). As I was signing again, I jokingly said, I Feel like I'm singing my life away. She then snapped on me saying, I'm not trying to find out about your business, this is what I'm supposed to do and some other things that were uncalled-for, just being very nasty, rude and with such attitude.
I was shocked. I then said, Ms. it's not that serious, it's just 24 dollars. She was still fussing, I just took my receipt, went to look at some underwear, then left.
I felt this woman, a short heavyset woman wearing glasses, and had an accent from a West Indian island, was out of character to paying customers.
In these covid and hard times, store employees, as with any businesses working with the public, should be courteous and obliging and happy people want to come in and spend money. I spent my money, (which was a total of 80 dollars, I had brought other items on Sunday and those jeans I took back, (I brought 2 pairs of the same in different sizes, taking back the one too small). All I did was make a return and I have to get cursed out, for what? It's really sad.
When I was there Sunday, I had the most pleasant time with the other smaller lady with the Island accent who wears glasses (she may be the manger?) and the cashier (she may have been Latino). We were joking, (I came in three different times buying clothing) and we all had a nice banter. The lady who may have been manager was helpful finding a certain item I was looking for.
Then I come in Tuesday, and now I feel I will stick with my regular stores like Macy's, JCP, T.J.MAXX , etc.
I just needed to express this because too many people get away with this type of behavior, and it's not right nor fair. Please read the reviews and take some sort of action.

I am a frequent shopper at Rainbow Shop in Clementon NJ. I often shop for clothing for my 5-year-old granddaughter any myself.
Yesterday (7/6/2022) I went to purchase a birthday gift and items for myself and my granddaughter suddenly had to use the bathroom.
I asked the manager of the store if she could use the bathroom and was told that customers were not allowed to use the bathrooms. I had to return the items that I was going to purchase and go home to allow my granddaughter to use the bathroom.
Rainbow Shops should allow their customers to use the bathroom especially when there are young children involved.
Preferred solution: open the bathroom for customers

I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied with Rainbow s Clothing store . If I could give this place a zero I certainly would .
The corporate address is 2951 Grant Ave , Philadelphia , PA 19114 and the Rainbow clothing store address that I went to is 4200 Portmouth Blvd, Chespeake, VA, 23321.The manager and the corporate owner was very rude and disrespectful . They had one of the worst attitudes Ive ever seen . I had to return a couple of items because some of the clothing items made me itch and their fitting rooms are still closed . I had my receipt and my tags however , the manager said she couldnt give me a refund after she had already had me sign a signature for an exchange .
The manager snatched some of my other items directly in front of my face , which was highly unprofessional. Not only that, but the manger also made fun of me , laughed , and talked negatively in front of some customers about me . This is highly very unprofessional .
Unbelievable , this a truly a shame , I have never experienced anything like this at Rainbows clothing store. I enjoy shopping at Rainbows clothing store however , I am a little concerned if I want to go and buy from this location again at 4200 Portsmouth Blvd, Chespeake Va, 23321 .

I experienced terrible Customer service this morning from LASHONDA in corporate customer service. I called because I placed an order online and I returned it to the local store.
When I did the salesperson told me since I paid through PayPal I could only receive store credit and asked if I wanted a gift card. I said SURE. I try to use the gift card online and its giving me an error msg. I call the corporate customer service number and get LASHONDA who tells me the gift card portion of their website is DOWN and I wouldnt be able to use the card!
HUH!?! I proceed to ask for my money back but she tells me they cant do that since they already processed the gift card and I can only use it in the store. Well wth! The salesperson didnt tell me I couldnt use it online or WHY would have allowed her to process my return!?!!!!!!!!!!!!
Add to that the fact that the clothes I bought online are NOT available in the store. I explain this all to LASHONDA and like a robot she goes on to tell me the return policy again. Obviously she wasnt paying attention. Getting the gift card isnt the issue.
Not being able to USE it online and the fact that I wasnt told beforehand is! We went round and round until I asked for the manager to call me back. FYI LASHONDA shouldnt be taking calls. She didnt apologize ONCE..

On June 9, 2022 my daughter and God daughter went into the rainbow shop today to make a purchase and they were in line waiting to be checked out and another worker came to check them out and fran Carlisle told the worker oh they can wait and that was unprofessional and then on top of that she had a coworker to follow them as if they was trying to steal and I am very upset and I tried to talk to the manager and she kept giving me the run around and that's is when I told them up they will hear from my lawyer that's was unprofessional they way she handle the situation you can reach me at 601-934-**** my name is jameia edwards

I ordered items online one of which came with *** in it. I went to my local Rainbow store to return.
The woman told me since I paid by pay pal I could only get store credit.. fine. She asked if I wanted a gift card and I said sure. I went to use the gift card online and it didnt work so I called corporate customer and got the rude LASHONDA.
She starts off by telling me that the website is down for gift cards and that I would only be able to use it in the store. EXCuSE me! I was never told this by the sales clerk and I told LASHONDA that. She goes on to tell me the policy is that I can only get a gift card.
If she was actually LISTENING to me she wouldve understood my issue was not that I got a gift card but the fact that I CANT USE IT ONLINE and I was NOT advised of this by the salesperson! LASHONDA with no empathy or customer service skills like courtesy or friendliness repeats the same bs and says I cant get my money back until I ask for a manager. Now Im waiting for a callback.
Get LASHONDA off the phones. She has no business interacting with customers with her poor attitude.
